About Subluxation:
If there is a deformation of a vertebra (an area in the upper cervical vertebra) along the spinal column, adjustment is applied to remove the pressure caused by the deformation from the nerve. What is removed by adjustment is subluxation; the appearance of subluxation indicates that the body’s ability to deal with illnesses and injuries has declined. The body is not properly operating to maintain itself, which has significant implications.
The therapy uses treatment to remove subluxation at the upper cervical vertebrae in order to clear the blockage to the nerve energy flow, which runs from the brain to the spinal cord and then to peripheral nerves, and completely activates natural (innate) healing powers. The source of illnesses is removed by the natural healing powers that well up within the body.
This improves the speed and accuracy of sending information from each organ to the brain. Once the brain has been provided with all the necessary instructions, it is able to concentrate on coping with any affected area by identifying and curing illnesses through the natural healing process.
Distortions of the whole bone structure will improve in proportion to the overall improvement of physical condition of the body. Thus, improvement of the physical condition leads to correction of distortions of the bone structure. You can physically see how innate healing power works within the body (face, toes, hallux valgus).
Adjustment to remove subluxation allows the body’s innate healing power to correct the distortions of the whole bone structure. The therapy does not involve any bone cracking to directly correct misalignment.
The later method is nothing more than forcibly applying learned chiropractic techniques to the human body and hardly has any real effect to cure illnesses.
The body itself has the ability to remain healthy as long as it is maintained in a condition that removes subluxation, so this is an important point for health care and maintenance.
