“Chiropractic Therapy for Maintaining and Caring for One's Health (1)”

Of the patients who received our chiropractic therapy and were released from the severe symptoms of backache, headaches, stiff shoulders and gastric pain, there is a certain percentage who are still continuing with our therapies at a frequency of once a month or once every two months in order to prevent the occurrence of sublaxation.

What encourages them to continue with therapy? Is it because the people around them tell them that they are looking a lot healthier lately, or, if they are students, is it because their school grades have been improved? Or, is it because they have realized that illness is a huge disadvantage in everyday life once they have regained their health?

The patients who visit us on a monthly basis are provided with therapy to support their bones and prevent misalignment of the upper cervical vertebrae (sublaxation.)

To be more precise, the surface of the body has an area known as the nerve reflect point, and by placing adhesive tape containing a small magnet ball with an approximate diameter of 1mm at a point located just below the elbow or knee and using weak electric current as a stimulant for a few moments, it is possible to finely adjust the misalignment that has occurred in the upper parts of the body until it is perfectly aligned again.

This sounds easy, but because it is necessary to locate this one specific point accurately from the entire surface of the body, it requires a chiropractor with both experience and a delicate touch and is consequently a very trying task that is not dissimilar to making the adjustments manually, although we have learnt not to display the pressure we are feeling on our faces.

Before you get alarmed, let me emphasize the fact that this is therapy to cure subluxation through the use of nerve reflexes and is not a vital point treatment (meridian or acupuncture points.) The treatment is performed by utilizing the weak electrical currents emitted by magnets, and does not involve sticking needles into the skin.

We use two methods of treating misalignment (subluxation) of the upper cervical vertebrae, and the appropriate method is selected in accordance with the condition (level) of the misalignment. However, they both involve treating the misalignment of the upper cervical vertebrae by stimulating nerve reflexes with the use of a magnet that makes fine adjustments to keep the bones in position and to maintain this condition in order to prevent subluxation before it occurs.

As this is an indirect method of treating the upper cervical vertebra with a magnet, it is extremely safe and we can assure you it can be used on everybody, from small babies to the elderly, without any cause for fear or concern.

The body itself has the ability to fight against illnesses, malfunctions and disorders as long as it is maintained in a condition that prevents the occurrence of subluxation, so this is an extremely important point for heath care and maintenance.
