“Chiropractic Therapy for Maintaining and Caring for One's Health (2)”
About 2,000 years ago in ancient China, it was thought that the cure for all illnesses was related to an area in the central part of the head, and this area was named the Chishin.
In anatomical terms this part of the brain is known as the brainstem, and the medulla, which is located at the tip of the brainstem, serves as a relay station between the brain and the spinal cord and provides the key for curing illnesses. One of the causes that trigger sublaxation in the human body is the misalignment of the upper cervical vertebrae, which results in the medulla being pinched.
We have now come forward in time, and the method known as the H.I.O Technique (Hole-in-One Technique,) which uses natural healing powers (innate healing powers) to eradicate the root of illnesses by treating only one area of the cervical vertebrae, was developed and implemented by B.J. Palmer between 1930 and 1960.
The patient is required to lie down on a special chiropractic table with the position of the head approximately 1cm lower than the body, and gentle pressure (approximately 700g) is then applied manually to the skin of the neck in order to treat the one specific area of the cervical vertebrae without the use of any equipment or machinery. This last for only a few moments and does not involve any bone-cracking, so it is totally painless.
The medulla is surrounded by ten pairs of cerebral nerves out of twelve pairs altogether as well as many other autonomic nuclei, and the chiropractic therapy releases the pressure that these cause and stops the spinal nerve from being pinched.
The therapy corrects the flow of the nervous system, which runs from the brain to the spinal nerves and then to the peripheral nerves, and improves the speed and accuracy (100%) of sending information from each organ to the brain. Once the brain has been provided with all necessary instructions, it is able to concentrate on coping with any disorder that occurs within the body both speedily and efficiently.
Real health is only possible by properly maintaining the functions of the innate healing powers that are able to attack the root of all illnesses.
This also activates all organic functions, which means such functions as digestion, breathing and metabolism also become more active, and this provides the patient with the feeling of being physically better and helps get them back to ideal health.
Also, correcting the balance of the autonomic nerves puts an end to the vicious circle that leads to physical disorders and helps the patient sleep better and overcome fatigue.
Although there is now a higher awareness of becoming healthy and maintaining health owing to the large volume of information available, the question of exactly how to remain healthy remains unanswered.
In answer to this question, you must look into your inner self and activate your life force, and then maintain it at appropriate levels.
